Film Screening and Discussion: “Chisholm ’72: Unbought & Unbossed”

Before Kamala and Hilary, there was trailblazer Shirley Chisholm, the first Black woman to seriously run for president. Come watch the story of her run followed by a dialogue with Professors Simone Caron (History) and Melissa Harris Perry (Politics and International Studies) on her legacy, our current election cycle, and the role that race and gender still play in our political climate. Doors open at 5:30pm for pre-movie pizza and film will start at 6pm.
