The AMINTAPHIL (American Section of the International Association of Philosophy of Law and Social Philosophy) Conference on Privacy will be held at Wake Forest on Oct. 13-15. As part of the conference program, AMINTAPHIL will sponsor a public forum on the topic “North Carolina House Bill 2: Privacy or Discrimination?” The forum will be co-sponsored by Wake Forest University Department of Philosophy, Department of Women, Gender and Sexuality Studies and School of Law. A joint panel for the forum will include Leslie Francis (Philosophy and Law, University of Utah and AMINTAPHIL), Kristina Gupta (WGS, Wake Forest), Harold Llyod (Law, Wake Forest), and Win-chiat Lee (Philosophy, Wake Forest, and AMINTAPHIL). It is open to the university community and the public.
